Browsing the site

No analytics, no ads, no tracking cookies.
A visitor counter is incremented once per browser using a flag in your browser's local storage. No IP address or fingerprint is stored.
Your theme, colour palette and last-visit date are kept in your browser's local storage only.
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes connection data (such as your IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Guestbook (Google sign-in)

Reading the guestbook needs no account. To post or like a note you sign in with Google. When you do, Google sends this site an identity token and we store:

your Google account id, display name and profile picture URL — name and picture are shown publicly on your cards;
your email address — stored so I can contact you about your note or identify the site author; never displayed and never returned by any public endpoint;
the notes you post, the colour you picked, the notes you liked, and timestamps.

Signing in sets one strictly necessary cookie (db_session, 30 days, HttpOnly) so the site knows it's you. Signing out deletes it. Google's handling of your account is covered by Google's privacy policy.

Third-party services

Google Identity Services — sign-in only. Loaded when the guestbook section renders.
Cloudflare — hosting, database (D1) and cache (KV). Data is stored on Cloudflare's network.
Public data shown on the page (GitHub activity, weather, Spotify) is fetched by the server about me, not about you.

Your data, your call

To see, correct or delete anything stored about you (including removing your notes and account), email dorabae98@gmail.com from the Google address you signed in with. Deletion is done within 7 days. Notes may also be hidden by me at any time (see terms).

House rules

The guestbook is a public space on a personal website. Be kind. Notes are plain text, up to 500 characters; links, images and files are not accepted.
Don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, spammy, or that isn't yours to share (including other people's personal data).
I may hide or delete any note, and block any account, at my discretion and without notice.
You keep the rights to what you write; by posting you allow me to display it on this site.
The site is provided "as is", without warranties. It's a portfolio, not a service with an SLA.
